Basketball Recap: Enumclaw Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Auburn Mountainview, Enumclaw was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 71-58 win over the Kentlake Falcons. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Falcons are ranked 320th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Enumclaw pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Kentlake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
