Basketball Recap: St. Peter Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hutchinson last Wednesday, St. Peter came back down to earth. The St. Peter Saints fell just short of the Marshall Tigers by a score of 69-67 on Saturday. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

St. Peter's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Marshall, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-9.

St. Peter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marshall, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Marshall Tigers duke it out with Mankato East Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. They will need to watch out since Mankato East has now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
