Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Bradley Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Hilliard Bradley needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Noah Santone. The Jaguars had just enough and edged out the Olentangy Liberty Patriots 3-2 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Santone, who had 38 assists and 13 digs. Santone is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.

Hilliard Bradley was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-20, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Olentangy Liberty still got an impressive performance from Vihaan Soni, who had 12 digs.

Hilliard Bradley's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Olentangy Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilliard Bradley will head out to challenge Olentangy Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Olentangy Liberty, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hilliard Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
