Soccer Recap: Eastside Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loganville, Eastside was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the East Forsyth Broncos 2-1.

Eastside's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4. As for East Forsyth, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Coming up, Eastside will be playing at home against Cristo Rey Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastside is facing Cristo Rey Atlanta at the right time seeing as Cristo Rey Atlanta is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Forsyth, they will venture away from home to challenge Cherokee Bluff at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
