Volleyball Recap: Independent Takes a Loss

Independent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Caldwell Bluejays. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Independent's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22-1. As for Caldwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Independent and Life Prep will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Caldwell, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Central Christian on the 4th.
