Garber is 7-2 against Cimarron since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Garber Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Cimarron Trailblazers at 8:00 p.m. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Garber is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Balko just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Bison by a score of 51-48. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Bison are ranked 94th).

Cimarron has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Dibble. The contest was a 25-25 toss-up at halftime, but the Trailblazers couldn't quite close it out.

Garber will have to keep a close watch on Avery Butler and Ethan Butler, a pair of players who had a big impact on Cimarron's prior game. Avery went 9 of 22 on his way to 26 points, while Ethan dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 44.1% of Cimarron's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drake Butler, who had seven points.

Garber's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Cimarron, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Everything came up roses for Garber against Cimarron in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured an 83-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Garber since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
