Basketball Recap: Ballard Memorial Takes a Loss

Ballard Memorial was the 61-58 winner over Mayfield when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ballard Memorial Bombers fell to the Mayfield Cardinals 41-35. The matchup marked the Bombers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ballard Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Mayfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-8.

Ballard Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mayfield, they will head out to face off against Graves County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Graves County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three games.
