Football Recap: Chaparral Skates Past Cherokee Trail with Ease + How To Watch

Chaparral never let their opponents score on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 55-0 win over the Cherokee Trail Cougars. The Wolverines pushed the score to 48-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had no chance of recovering from.

Chaparral found their leader in sophomore Zoey Fink, who threw for 240 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 80.6% of her passes.

Chaparral didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Molly McWilliams, Lexi Lawson, and Brianna Baltzer picked up one apiece. McWilliams has been hot recently, having also posted two or more sacks the last four times she's played.

Chaparral has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points this season. As for Cherokee Trail, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
