Baseball Game Preview: Coventry Comets vs. Cloverleaf Colts

For the second straight game, Coventry will face off against Cloverleaf. The Comets will head out on the road to square off against the Colts at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coventry is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Monday, Coventry came up short against Cloverleaf and fell 7-4.

Coventry saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Leasure, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Cloverleaf is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Coventry, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
