Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wetumpka). They put the hurt on the Percy Julian Phoenix with a sharp 24-5 victory on Tuesday. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Bailey Carlise, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. Ava Farmer also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Carlise wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Wetumpka kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Percy Julian only managed one hit.

Wetumpka's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2.

Looking ahead, Wetumpka will square off against Calera at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wetumpka is facing Calera at the right time seeing as Calera is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Percy Julian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
