Volleyball Recap: Fillmore Central's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Fillmore Central waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Spring Grove Lions. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 25-17.

Maddie Zwart paced Fillmore Central's offense, picking up 20 kills. Zwart got some help from Aubrey Daniels and her 30 assists. Daniels also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Norah Nagel, each putting up two.

Fillmore Central's record now sits at 23-6. As for Spring Grove, they dropped their record down to 16-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Fillmore Central nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
