Basketball Recap: Andrews Comes Up Short

Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 54-33 to the Woodland Wolverines. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-59 back in January.

Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Woodland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrews will challenge Philip Simmons at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Philip Simmons will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Andrews surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodland, they will face off against Timberland at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
