Basketball Game Preview: Athens Bible Trojans vs. Elkmont Red Devils

Last Friday, Athens Bible earned a 39-28 victory over Cherokee.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Elkmont over Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Elkmont blew Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering out of the water with a 60-7 final score. That 53 point margin sets a new team best for the Red Devils this season.

Athens Bible's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Elkmont, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.

Athens Bible was able to grind out a solid win over Elkmont when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 43-31. Will Athens Bible repeat their success, or does Elkmont have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
