Baseball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley lost against Nevada Union on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The River Valley Falcons might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-3 to the Nevada Union Miners, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

River Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was GONZALO TAVARES, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nevada Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
