With a playoff win on the line, Parkside rose to the challenge on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Queen Anne's County Lions by the margin of a single free throw, 41-40. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Lions back in December of 2024, they had to take a 51-23 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zion Oge, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ta'Layah Clark, who scored 12 points.

Parkside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. With the defeat, Queen Anne's County broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-3.

Looking ahead, Parkside will square off against Kent Island at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kent Island's defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so Parkside's offense will have their work cut out for them. Queen Anne's County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
