Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-3 on Tuesday.
As for Mohawk, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-16. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games.
For Mohawk's part, the result came thanks to Jay Andrews's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. Andrews has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Mohawk let Forrest Yarbrough and Caleb Ogg run wild. Yarbrough got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Ogg went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Mohawk is 2-1 when Yarbrough posts two or more runs, but 0-15 otherwise.
