Kolbe-Cathedral's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 16-5 margin over the Harding Presidents. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won six matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Kolbe-Cathedral's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Harding, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Kolbe-Cathedral will venture away from home to challenge Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.63 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Harding, they will square off against Housatonic-Lakeview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
