Volleyball Recap: Lee Williams Takes a Loss

Lee Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Combs Coyotes. If the Volunteers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Coyotes when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lee Williams' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Combs, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Lee Williams will square off against Bradshaw Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Combs, they will face off against ALA - Queen Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. ALA - Queen Creek will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Combs surely won't give up without a fight.
