Basketball Recap: Northridge Knights vs. Syracuse Titans
A win for Northridge just wasn't in the cards on Tuesday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They came up short against the Syracuse Titans, falling 55-34. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Syracuse to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maylee Anderson, who scored 12 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Anderson a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Aubri Stoker, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points plus five rebounds and two steals.
Northridge's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northridge will welcome Summit Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Syracuse, they will be defending their home-court for the first time this season they go up against Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
