Volleyball Recap: Arbor View Falls Short Against Ranked Harvard-Westlake

Arbor View is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Harvard-Westlake. The Aggies fell 2-0 to the Wolverines. If the Aggies were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in September of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cameron Reese paced Arbor View's offense, picking up five kills. Reese got some help from Alexxa Chan and her 13 assists. Finally, Cori Leavitt kept Arbor View's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Arbor View's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Harvard-Westlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Arbor View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Kamehameha Hawai'i on the 20th. As for Harvard-Westlake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Huntington Beach on the 20th.
