Skutt Catholic is a perfect 4-0 against Pius X since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The SkyHawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Thunderbolts at 7:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Skutt Catholic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nebraska's top teams: Duchesne, who was ranked 18th at the time (Skutt Catholic was ranked 16th). The SkyHawks' defense stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 5-0 shutout on Saturday. The game was the first time Skutt Catholic have beaten Duchesne on their pitch since March 26, 2021.

Skutt Catholic hit Duchesne with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kamryn Kasner (2), Milayni Cain, Kate Carlson, and Presley Douglas.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pius X). They blew past Lincoln 10-0 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pius X.

Skutt Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Pius X, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Everything went Skutt Catholic's way against Pius X in their previous meeting back in April of 2018, as Skutt Catholic made off with a 4-1 win. Do the SkyHawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunderbolts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
