Baseball Game Preview: Parsippany Redhawks vs. Hanover Park Hornets

The Parsippany Redhawks will square off against the Hanover Park Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parsippany is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Parsippany is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since April 24, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Jefferson Township, falling 11-5.

Matthew Parker and Bryan Sunga did some serious damage despite the final result: Parker went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Sunga went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That home run marked the first that Sunga has launched this season.

Meanwhile, Hanover Park narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Midland Park 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Hanover Park's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Parsippany, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
