Jeffersonville extended their postseason success on Saturday against Mt. Vernon. They secured a 63-59 W over the Marauders. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won 16 games in a row.

Jeffersonville had a senior duo take command as Michael Cooper went 8-for-13 to rack up 24 points and Tre Singleton shot 60% from the field on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. Cooper is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last ten games he's played. PJ Douglas was another key player, putting up eight points.

Mt. Vernon's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Ertel, who went 9-for-21 en route to 29 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Max Vise, who shot 83% from the field on his way to 13 points and five boards.

Jeffersonville's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Mt. Vernon, they moved to 21-6 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Jeffersonville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-49 victory against Lawrence North on the 22nd. Mt. Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
