Recap: Huntsville vs. Prattville
The Huntsville Panthers's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They had just enough and edged Prattville out 2-1. Huntsville wouldn't have won without Chloe Curry, who scored the game-winner.
Huntsville was without their leading scorer, Cambria Garcia, in Saturday's matchup. With Garcia sidelined, Selah Almond got Almond first action of the season.
Huntsville now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Prattville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntsville is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Sparkman at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. As for Prattville, they will take on Vestavia Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prattville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
