Baseball Recap: Bagley Comes Up Short

If Bagley was feeling good fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Cass Lake-Bena on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flyers fell 8-3 to the Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal Titans on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Flyers in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost five in a row.

Gunner Nolan made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Wyatt Gerbracht was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Bagley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.
