Baseball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Leslie's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Leslie rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Napoleon Pirates 14-4. The Blackhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Leslie is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Napoleon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Leslie will take on Lumen Christi Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight. Napoleon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
