Orcutt Academy won the last time they faced Coast Union and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Eryka Gudmunds paced Orcutt Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Gudmunds got some help from Lizzie Krausse and her 15 assists. Finally, Gudmunds was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

The victory got Orcutt Academy back to even at 9-9. As for Coast Union, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Coming up, Orcutt Academy will head out to face off against Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coast Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
