Softball Game Preview: Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes vs. Miami Vandals

The Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes are taking a road trip to square off against the Miami Vandals at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arizona Lutheran Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Miami will be coming in after a loss.

Arizona Lutheran Academy is headed out to face Miami after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Arizona Lutheran Academy walked away with a 5-2 win over Fountain Hills on Monday.

Jenna Danzeisen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

In other batting news, Kaylee Pufahl was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. JJ Grams was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 21 runs the game before, Miami was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Hayden, falling 14-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Vandals have suffered against the Lobos since April 21, 2016.
