Football Game Preview: Flathead Braves/Bravettes vs. Glacier Wolfpack + How To Watch

Flathead is 2-8 against Glacier since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Braves/Bravettes will venture away from home to challenge the Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Flathead took a 31-point defeat the last time they faced off against Butte, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Braves/Bravettes slipped by the Bulldogs 23-22 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Braves/Bravettes as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Eli Coopman produced another solid effort rushing for 122 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 149 yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of that aerial production (105 yards to be exact) went to Boston Case, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Flathead was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 166 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, while Glacier put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Helena. The Wolfpack simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bengals 35-0. The result was nothing new for the Wolfpack, who have now won six matchups by 34 points or more so far this season.

Flathead's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Glacier, their record now sits at 7-0.

Flathead took a serious blow against Glacier when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 56-0. Can the Braves/Bravettes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
