Basketball Recap: Kress Takes a Loss

Kress pushed their score to 64 the last time they played Lockney, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Kress Kangaroos came up short against the Lockney Longhorns, falling 38-14. The game marked the Kangaroos' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kress has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Lockney, the victory snapped their losing streak at 12 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.

Kress wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-48 loss against Motley County on the 13th. Lockney has also already played their next game, a 74-36 defeat against Littlefield on the 12th.
