Baseball Recap: Wenatchee Panthers vs. West Valley Rams
Wenatchee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-4 to the West Valley Rams. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-2 defeat on Friday.
Matthew Butler and Griffin Butler stepped up to the plate in a big way. Matthew went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Griffin went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Owen Ervin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Wenatchee's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for West Valley, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.
