It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Foresthill can now relate to. They were beaten by the Sonora Wildcats 34-6 on Wednesday. The Wildfires' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Brianna Miller threw for 108 yards and one TD. Amy Saxelby was her top target, picking up 53 receiving yards. On the ground, Carly Clarke rushed for 41 yards.

Foresthill's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Sonora, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Foresthill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sonora, they will square off against Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 6.4 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
