Baseball Recap: First State Military Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Woodbridge

First State Military Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodbridge Raiders on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost six in a row.

First State Military Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Belford, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Woodbridge's record now sits at 2-0.

First State Military Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Newark Charter School on the 28th. As for Woodbridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-4 victory against North Dorchester on the 28th.
