Football Recap: Halifax Academy Comes Up Short

Halifax Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the St. David's Warriors and fell 41-8. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Halifax Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. David's, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Halifax Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 19th. As for St. David's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 60-8 defeat against John Paul II Catholic on the 19th.
