Liberty had lost three straight headed into Friday's match, but Logan Hinds didn't let it get to four. Liberty skirted past Nixa 2-1 with plenty of help from Hinds, who had six digs and two aces. He is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 15-11-1. As for Nixa, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Kirkwood on the 3rd. As for Nixa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Lafayette on the 2nd.
