Softball Recap: Horn Lake Comes Up Short

Horn Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Oxford Chargers, falling 25-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on March 6th.

Horn Lake's record now sits at 0-7. As for Oxford, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Horn Lake is set to challenge their familiar foe Southaven at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oxford will square off against rival DeSoto Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
