Churchill had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Reagan Rattlers. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Rattlers back in March, they had to take a 13-10 loss.
Sonia Gres spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
