Volleyball Recap: Hanover Takes a Loss

Hanover lost against York Catholic back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Nighthawks fell 3-1 to the Fighting Irish. The Nighthawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 20-25, 25-18, 25-11.

Grace Herndon paced Hanover's offense, picking up 16 kills. Herndon got some help from Morgan Roberts and her 29 assists. Roberts was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for York Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Hanover will face off against Bermudian Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for York Catholic, they will square off against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
