Volleyball Recap: Central Indians vs. Park Hill Trojans

Central came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Park Hill Trojans, falling 3-0. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-9.

Greely Simpson paced Central's offense, picking up five kills. Simpson got some help from Hayden Root and her 11 assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Park Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooke Brown, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Brown has posted over her last nine matchups. Harper Dirks also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Park Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Central has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Park Hill South on the 25th. As for Park Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Liberty on the 25th.
