Soccer Recap: Garner Takes a Loss + How To Watch

There was early excitement for Garner after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Corinth Holders Pirates by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Corinth Holders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 two weeks ago.

Garner's goal came courtesy of Caleb Diaz Everisto, who's now up to two this season.

Garner's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Corinth Holders, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Garner will host Enloe at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Corinth Holders, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Franklinton on the 4th.
