Soccer Recap: Cedar Ridge Takes a Loss

Cedar Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Vista Ridge Rangers. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Rangers are ranked 30th).

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Vista Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1-1.

Cedar Ridge is taking a road trip to take on McNeil at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Vista Ridge, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Manor at 7:30 p.m. Vista Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
