Recap: Parrish Community Bulls vs. Southeast Seminoles
The Parrish Community Bulls entered their tilt with the Southeast Seminoles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Parrish Community took down Southeast 53-37 on Monday. For Parrish Community, this counts as revenge for the 51-44 loss Southeast walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Leading Parrish Community to victory were Malakai Cuffy and Dylan Higgins. Cuffy scored 13 points along with six assists, while Higgins scored 19 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Higgins has scored at least 25% of Parrish Community's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Fetterman, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds.
Parrish Community's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Southeast, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Parrish Community will head out on the road to face off against Ida Baker at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ida Baker will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 694th, while Parrish Community is ranked 343rd). As for Southeast, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. Palmetto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 618 points over their last nine matchups.
