Volleyball Recap: Windsor Jaguars vs. American Canyon Wolves
Windsor lost against American Canyon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Windsor fell 3-1 to American Canyon. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Windsor had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.
Despite the defeat, Windsor saw an underclassman step up: freshman Joshua Ramos had 12 digs and five aces. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Ramos.

Even though they lost, Windsor was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.
American Canyon found their leader in sophomore Geo Miguel MacAso, who had ten digs and three aces. Those ten digs gave MacAso a new career-high. Elijah Arizabal also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.
Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for American Canyon, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3.
Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Windsor Jaguars face off against Ukiah Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Canyon, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rancho Cotate on the 27th.
