Norwayne had won eight straight games and Laney Dudte did her part to make it nine on Tuesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Smithville Smithies with a sharp 3-0 win with plenty of help from Dudte, who had 17 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Norwayne's got stronger as the match went on, holding Smithville to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21, 25-20.

Norwayne was led to victory by Layla Smithberger and Ava Maibach. Smithberger had 15 assists and four digs, while Maibach had 17 kills, 16 digs, three blocks, and two aces.

Norwayne's record is now 15-3. As for Smithville, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Norwayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Dalton on the 2nd. Smithville has also already played their next match (against Hillsdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
