Tracy is 1-9 against St. Mary since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Tracy will venture away from home to take on St. Mary's at 4:00 p.m. Tracy is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
Tracy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Kimball.
Not much got past Jace Johnson, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Kimball off the board. That's the fewest hits Johnson has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Jacoby Freitas was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, St. Mary's entered their tilt with Central Catholic on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Raiders. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.
Giani Camacho looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dax Hardcastle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Moses Alexander, who got no hits.
Tracy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Mary's, their record is now 7-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Tracy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like St. Mary's struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Tracy suffered a grim 14-2 defeat to St. Mary's when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Tracy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
