Memorial came out on top against St. Benedict's Prep on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fourth inning. The Tigers put the hurt on the Gray Bees with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Memorial's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for St. Benedict's Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial will challenge Bayonne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bees will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for St. Benedict's Prep, they will take on Caldwell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
