Soccer Recap: Minico Comes Up Short

Minico lost against Twin Falls back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans came up short against the Bruins, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Minico can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Twin Falls are ranked eighth).

Minico's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Twin Falls, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Minico has already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Bonneville on the 18th. As for Twin Falls, they will be playing at home against Pocatello at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
