Baseball Recap: St. John Paul II Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

While St. John Paul II put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Taylor County. The St. John Paul II Panthers walked away with a 3-0 win over the Taylor County Bulldogs. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

St. John Paul II saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levarius McClure II, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

St. John Paul II's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Taylor County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Godby is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Taylor County, they will square off against Florida State University High School at 7:00 p.m. on March 27th.
