Baseball Recap: Chicago Hope Academy Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Chicago Hope Academy put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Farragut Admirals a 7-0 shutout. Fans of Chicago Hope Academy have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Jorge Matos Jr. was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Bonilla, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Chicago Hope Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Chicago Hope Academy's victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Farragut, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
