Softball Recap: Central Cambria Red Devils vs. Altoona Mountain Lions
The Central Cambria Red Devils got the win against the Altoona Mountain Lions on Saturday by a conclusive 15-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Aubrey Ruddek made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Katie George was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Camryn Matlin also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

As for Altoona, they will square off against DuBois at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mountain Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Beavers have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season.
